Hallington Lakes (Hallington Reservoirs on some maps) are 2 miles east of the A68, 7 miles north of Hexham.

Take the first right 1/3 rd of a mile north ater Colwell on the B6342. The narrow tarmac lane is marked Private.

Do heed the speed limits on this single track lane to avoid any embarrassment, and use the passing places if someone comes the other way.

Pass the West Lake on your right, turn right over the causeway, the club house, car park, and access to the boats are in the pine trees ahead..
